Damian Sarandesesis a leading figure in Argentina’s underground electronic scene, with over 25 years of experience as a DJ and producer. Influenced early on by 70s house, funk, trance, and techno, he began his career playing at private parties and quickly moved on to clubs like Columna 8, Heaven, and Cinema. In 1997, he landed his first residency at Viva Buenos Aires, sharing the booth with names like Diego Cid and Diego Ro-K.Alongside Charly DJ and DJ Ice, he formed Under Group DJ, known for their techno and progressive house sets, performing at venues like L’Inferno and Moroco. In the early 2000s, he began producing music, releasing his debut album Trance Machine in 2002 and playing for 30,000 people in Rio de Janeiro.He later held a second residency at Kimia Club with German Sullivan, performing with artists like Haldo Haidar and Carla Tintoré. His music was released internationally on labels such as Millenium Record and Spinin. Together with Sullivan, he co-created events like Electro Club, Moon Dancing, and MYSEC, and hosted a radio show on FM Trance.In 2006, he founded Animal Sound Records to support emerging talent. Since 2015, he’s embraced psy-progressive while staying true to progressive house and techno. With over 5 albums, 60 singles, and a team of resident DJs, Sarandeses continues to influence the global electronic scene.
